FOUNDATIONS
SONS OF A CARPENTER is a volunteer organization that provides community service through the construction or restoration of structures to instill hope to those who have encountered loss due to uncontrollable circumstances.
It began as a relief effort when a few volunteers collected and distributed necessities to survivors of Hurricane Katrina. The need for assistance was compelling. More volunteers returned with donated building supplies and borrowed equipment to restore a church. The group became known as SONS OF A CARPENTER and since then has helped many people and many communities.
